Preparing for your puppy.
A guideline of what to buy when preparing for your puppy : Crate, bed for crate, bed, chew Toy, bowls, mat for bowls, leash, collar, harness, puppy snuggle pack, puppy food, play pen, treats, tooth brush & tooth paste, and training program. We recommend buying these products before picking up your puppy so you are prepared! Once you get your puppy you may find out you need a few more things but these essentials are important to have in the very beginning for a great start with your new furry baby!
The Essentials
Litter Box Supplies
Your puppy will come mostly potty trained to go in the litter box. Below are products we use and recommend if you want to continue having your pup use the litter box.
If you’re wanting a cheaper option for the litter, I like to use animal safe wood pellets. You can buy these pellets off of Amazon or find some at your local farm/feed store.
If you would rather use a pee pad set up, this is the cleanest setup I can recommend for your puppy.
Trays
We recommend these trays as they are the only trays that will fit nicely beneath the green grates.
Pee Pads
We recommend these pee pads because they fit perfectly in the black trays. If you get to big of pee pads your puppy can potentially rip the pee pad out and rip it to shreds. (not fun!) Also, if you get to small of pee pads it will be a bigger mess to clean.
